In April 2025 a DNR crew burned the plot and it looks great! Hopefully they do this annually to help maintain the health of this pollinator habitat.

After the invasive honeysuckle was cut, stumps treated and stems burned this whole pollinator plot came back to life in 2024!

Hoping the wild flowers shown below in 2010 come back.

Above is a good example of natures beauty lost to invasive species. In the early 2000 years controlled burns were used to maintain this beauty.
